September 2019 Market Update

The chart above is a 13 year history of the average sales price in Lewis, Thurston and Cowlitz Counties. As you can see, Lewis County reached the peak of 2007 before the market collapse and those prices were already surpassed by January of 2018.


Last year at this same time, there was an October drop. Seeing as how we seem to be following that trend this year, I expect to see an October drop and then modest gains in November/December. Beginning in January and going through May, I expect growth of $3,000 per month. Has there every been a better time to be a homeowner when your equity outpaces your mortgage payment?!
