The New Rules of Real Estate Amidst a Global Pandemic & How to Decide to Whether to Make a Move or Not & When

Although the real estate market remains incredibly strong, the rules for how it runs have drastically changed. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect when viewing a home.

It is encouraged to wear gloves and mask

Only 1 buyer in house at a time

Must maintain at least 6 feet distance always

No Open Houses

Showings cannot be double booked

If you are selling a home, it is up to you and your level of comfort in regards to allowing showings and any rules surrounding those showings. It is encouraged that all interior doors be left open and all lights on so doorknobs and light switches don’t have to be touched. You are also encouraged to sanitize the home upon return.

The buyers that are still active are SERIOUS and have underlying motivations that make owning a home essential and necessary.
